Mike is an Army Veteran who retired from active duty as an E-7/Sergeant First Class in 2013. He served as a Combat Medic during three deployments to Iraq. Mike is a 1991 graduate of Benton High School. He and his wife, Maria, have been married for 26 years and have four children. Their oldest child is serving in the US Coast Guard.
